And those "best" & "mixed" moments - Most Versatile Employee (Male) 2011

Wow!! what can I say about tonight... It was really awesome!!!

Received Most Versatile Employee (Male) 2011 award from Mr. Sandy Tungare (Founder and CEO) & Bill Beecher (President) of Vistaar... 
It came out as a complete surprise package to me... The shout of people at back cheering for you... Nervousness at the same time... all big people saying all good things about you... OMG.. Too much of things & surprises at the same time... 
Truly enjoyed it from heart. Never thought of this at all.

I was so nervous... Had mixed emotions while receiving this award from CEO & President... Hence could not even speak up a single word in front of the great audience. Realised it when I got settled after 5-6 mins of this event :-)

Ohk.. But this is my stage… So I would like to take an opportunity to thank all my friends out there in Development, PSO, CSS, QC or anywhere in Vistaar...... Guys... it’s all possible because of you. You set out the standards for winning this award and sum up what the award means.  I am really grateful for the recognition I have received for the work.

I have faced several challenges in my life, but each has only strengthened me to make me the person I am today. This award could not have been achieved without the inspiration I have received from my managers like Rajesh V.K. Vinay Joshi, Anil Bapat, Manoj Karekar, Ashita & Raghav, friends like Sameer Mundaye, Omprakash and my colleagues within and out of teams and of course the great motivator… my BOSS.. Mr. Gagan Holani, for whom I have deep respect, and from whom I have derived the strength to challenge myself and perform better at each stage.

I sincerely thank every one of you for helping me reach a stage where I can proudly hold up this award as a mark of my achievement. I also promise to only get better at my work so that you can see me here, hopefully for a different award next time. Thank you!

BTW... they gave desi name to this award called "DON" ;-) Hoping to continue with double spirit in future.
